Simulating Turning Centers in CIMCO Machine Simulation
CIMCO Machine Simulation allows users to simulate their entire CNC machine directly within CIMCO Edit, ensuring validation of NC code and an accurate view of the machining process before running a program on a real machine.
Machines can be modeled with high detail to meet specific simulation requirements, ensuring accurate simulation of critical machine aspects. The system supports various turrets, tools, holders, and inserts for flexible, realistic simulations.
When testing a program, the simulation processes NC code line by line, ensuring all movements of machine components and interactions are accurately reflected in the simulated stock. The system also simulates the rapid rotation of the chuck holding the workpiece, detecting potential collisions.
The simulation including the fast calculation of the final stock runs smooth and is very accurate thanks to our GPU-accelerated stock simulation.
