Sandvik Coromant Tools Now Accessible on MachiningCloud Platform
Sandvik Coromant is a leading global provider of cutting tools and machining solutions used across industries like automotive, aerospace, and general manufacturing. Its tooling data now appears alongside other trusted brands within MachiningCloud’s multi‑supplier environment, enabling users to easily find tools, build assemblies, and export data directly into CAM systems, significantly improving process planning and reducing guesswork in job preparation.
Leaders from both companies emphasised the benefits of the partnership: MachiningCloud co‑founder Paul Ricard said the collaboration puts “ready‑to‑use Sandvik Coromant tooling data into the hands of CAM programmers,” helping streamline production workflows. Sandvik Coromant’s Business & Partner Development Manager Tobias Unosson noted the move reflects a commitment to broadening access to high‑quality tooling information on platforms that customers prefer.
MachiningCloud users can now browse Sandvik Coromant’s catalog and integrate this tooling information directly into digital workflows, helping improve machining efficiency and planning accuracy from design through to the shop floor. Access remains free for existing and new users as data continues to be added in phases.
